I'm afraid that they will not help with the fact that sims are now leaving used glasses all over the house, so that, when your sims clean up, they will proceed to the sink nearest to the last dirty item they pick up - which will often be in a bathroom or bedroom. These have not completely solved the problem for me, but they have helped a little. Choose the best sink your sims can afford for the kitchen. Sims seem to choose the sink with the highest hygiene rating. Shelves and décor placed above the sink can do this.ģ. Check that nothing is blocking the kitchen sink. It helps to take that into account when designing houses.Ģ. So if your bathroom (say) backs onto the kitchen (or is directly above it), the bathroom sink may actually be closer than the kitchen sink, even though they may have to walk a long roundabout route to get there. I have noticed that a sim's idea of 'the closest sink' seems to be built on literal distance, not on the distance they have to walk to get there. It has been around forever - right from Sims 1.ġ.
